Plum trees have interesting characteristics, as their fruit are firm and fleshy. The peel is smooth and has a natural waxy feel. They are classed as drupes, which are also known as stone fruits. Although there are many variations of plum tree, that can grow in the UK, the most popular is the Victoria plum. It is also one of the most popular fruit trees sold for personal use.

Plums can be dehydrated, and the term for dried plums is known as prunes. As they can require fertiliser to grow, they can be a costly fruit. Reducing the amount of fertiliser used is not just better for your budget, but also better for the environment. The KYMINASI PLANTS Crop Booster aids in plant growth, developing better quality fruit, with less resources used.  

What is the KPCB micro-transmitter? 

The KYMINASI PLANTS Crop Booster uses frequencies in the range of 10Hz and 150KHz to resonate with a crop’s natural frequency. This can be used to destress plants, help with recovery times, and lower the amount of water and other resources used. It has been tested over many crops, and in this experiment, the plum trees were used to test what differences occur. Some crops will use less water, others will produce larger crops; the plum tree used less fertiliser. 

What were the results for the KPCB treated plums? 

California, USA, summer 2020 

The test was run in the warm climate of California, during the summer of 2020. The farmers field had been underperforming, with the size of the plums not reaching expected sizes. Midway through the crop cycle, the farmer installed the KYMINASI PLANTS Crop Booster with only 9 days left before the set harvest date.

Not only did the farmer require less fertiliser, saving $74 per acre, 0.4 hectares, the KPCB improved the plums Brix rating. The normal Brix rating was 15-17 degrees, and the KPCB plums were rated at 17-22 degrees. Visually, the plums seemed to be larger than previous harvests.
