Farm-centric technology. Unleash the combined power of the KPCB and LiveFarmer
KYMINASI PLANTS Crop Booster
A brand-new way to get more from less, the KYMINASI PLANTS Crop Booster has shown to increase crop yield, increase plant hardiness, and use less water. The device uses biophysics, to increase crop yield, without any electricity needed! All you need to do is install it onto your existing irrigation system. You can find out more here. You can test the results of better soil health with soil health sensors, to get real data on how the KPCB is affecting your soil. This information can be added to the LiveFarmer farm management software to build up a long-term data set for better predictions on harvests.
Increased crop yield by up to 24%
The Crop Booster has results from all over the world, but we wanted to see results for the UK. We ran an experiment on rocket lettuce, across 3 harvests of the same plants. To get an accurate reading of how well the KPCB works in the British climate.
The Experiment parameters
Rocket produces multiple yields per plant, and therefore we tested over 3 separate harvests, for more accurate results. The rocket was planted in two fields, both were the same size, same soil, and the same number of crops planted. The only difference between the two fields was the irrigation. Field A was the control, using regular irrigation piping. Field B had the KYMINASI PLANTS Crop Booster installed. The harvests were done at the same time, in order to get the most accurate results.
The results
Over the first half of the season, the rocket was harvested 3 times. The difference in yield between the control and the KYMINASI PLANTS Crop Booster was substantial.
- The first harvest saw a yield difference of 24% more crops with the KYMINASI PLANTS Crop Booster.
- The second yield of the same plants had a 17.5% increase compared to the control.
- The third and final yield of the regrown crop saw the KYMINASI PLANTS Crop Booster increase the yield by 12.5%.
- Data was also compared against historical data, stored in the management software, which also verified a significant crop yield increase.
