First Base Solutions Transforms their Marketing through the Elevate Technology Programme
First Base Solutions is an IT maintenance and support company that provides software, hardware, telecommunications, and internet services. They offer 24/7 support to clients, which is their unique selling point. Their clientele includes companies from the fresh produce, transportation industry, and legal sectors. In addition, First Base Solutions have also created a software package ‘Live Farmer’, to help with farm management.
For their ever-growing business, First Base Solutions identified they needed support with lead generation. Having previously gained support from Worcestershire County Council throughout the Covid Pandemic, the company reached out to the team, introducing them to the Elevate Technology programme.
As well as support for lead generation, the company also wanted to create a marketing campaign for its software offer and develop an internal system to integrate all marketing touchpoints increasing efficiency. As a result of the programme, First Base Solutions were able to do that and more.
On their journey to establishing a successful marketing function, the support element of the programme enabled First Base Solutions to seek invaluable specialist consultancy support, to streamline their operations.
The company integrated various aspects into HubSpot – a versatile Customer Relationship Management package that became the backbone of all marketing endeavours. From their website and telephone system to LinkedIn and email, everything now linked to HubSpot, providing a centralised database for efficient management.
Aiming to acquire ten new leads or prospects each week, they sought external help with their Marketing Strategy. The specialist assistance part funded by the Elevate Technology grant helped the company implement a marketing plan, as well as copy for their website, email, social media, brochures and miscellaneous marketing material.
SEO support was also a part of this. The company also went on to integrate the use of HubSpot into their marketing plan by producing regular automated email campaigns, allowing them to consistently engage with their audience in a timely and targeted manner.
The grant has had an overwhelmingly positive impact on the business.
First Base Solutions have hired a new salesperson due to the influx of new business leads.
Their IT infrastructure and business development functions have improved, becoming more efficient and measurable. Employees have developed new skills, boosted their productivity and feel more aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
